About Us

Hope Story Mission was founded by Lennox Barnett, who knows first-hand the trauma of being raised in an orphanage. When his mother died just before his 15th birthday, Lennox was left in the care of an institution in Kingston, Jamacia. Lennox was later offered the opportunity for a promising future through a missionary family that brought him to the United States. There is a stark difference between orphans who are offered hope for the future and those that are released back into their communities with little preparation for adulthood. These experiences prompted Lennox to form a ministry to help the aged-out orphan find hope, help, and healing so that they can become indigenous leaders in their communities and create a stable foundation so they can succeed and thrive.
