I have been a registered nurse (RN) since 2012, working in various locations in hospital Emergency and Critical Care departments (Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin), and prehospital in helicopter flight transport (in the Chicagoland area).

Specifically, I have been fortunate to work in two hospital Emergency Departments, a Neuro/Trauma/Burn Intensive Care Unit, a Gastroenterology clinic doing Pre Op, Post Op, and procedures with sedation, and flight medicine, where we provided on-scene care and transported critically ill patients from smaller hospitals to larger hospitals that could provide a higher level of medical care.

I also was a Paramedic for 30 years, working with fire departments and in flight medicine as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University and am in my second year of graduate school, working on a Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Practice Nurse Practitioner degree.

I now work in a Psychiatric clinic with Northwestern Medicine Health System while I attend school.
